I KNOW MORE THAN YOU

Everybody's first screenplay is a mess. Like any newborn, it requires constant attention and adapting to its needs, and for my first Intermediate Screenwriting class, this story was all that I could handle getting out on the last push. That being said, it's one of the most personal things I've put out there. It's the baby I hope to raise to its appearance on a bigger screen someday. There's no use in it collecting dust in my files and unnoticed (for better or worse) by the masses.

For better or for worse, I know more than you.

You're smarter than you think, and you know more about any average thing than the person next to you.

For better or for worse, you don't know. Not knowing only leads to finding out.

F*** around and find out, at that. Not to be edgy, but boygenius still gets it. They know more than me on writing "True Blue" before I could write this screenplay, but it reflects a lot of the lesson I drew from this story.

I treat the creative part of my mind like a empty room, awaiting items that sprout from ideas to the point where the room is cluttered. Finding the right tools becomes harder with clutter, but at least I know the space is occupied. This screenplay was a tool that shone brighter than the rest. Give it a skim!

Cheers,

MO LEE, aspiring creative (aren't we all)
